School Captains 2009

Each year, our School Captains and School Vice Captains are selected by our staff members. We look for students who display good leadership skills and who we know will be great role models for our school community.This year, our School Captains and School Vice Captains are Jared, Brianna, Callista and Cody. They want to share their stories with you.

Hi, my name is Jared.

I feel very honored and privileged to be School Captain this year.

I am looking forward to help this school by having more responsibilities and doing extra stuff out of school.

I would like to do this year would be to go to other events like School Captains have done in previous years.

I think that we should have a meeting with the Junior School Councilors, School Vice Captains, and School Captains once a month to decide things that we could do to help the school.

Hi. I’m Brianna and I’m School Captain with Jared.

I am very proud of my efforts so far. These are some roles that I’ve done as school captain -  feed the chooks on Friday, welcome visitors to the school and hold Assembly every second Tuesday, just to name a few!

At Hoddles Creek Primary School this year we have Callista and Cody as School Vice captains. They do the chooks too and fill in for Jared or me when we are away. Later this term we hope to do a hot chocolate Fundraiser. I like Hoddles Creek Primary School because it is small and you know everyone!!!

Hi - my name is Cody and I’m a school Vice Captain.

I am very lucky and proud to be school Vice Captain. My responsibilities include feeding the chooks on Mondays, holding Assemblies, going to meetings and helping students around the school yard. We will do fundraising to earn money for the school and for charities. I like Hoddles Creek because it’s a small school and all of the students are nice.

Hi, my name is Callista and I am very proud to be a school Vice Captain.

I take Jared or Brianna’s place if they are away. I also do assembly every second Monday and do fundraisers like selling icy poles and hot chocolate. I help anyone who comes to me, or asks me to play with them.
