School Council
Our School Council has fifteen members. Four are staff representatives. Three of these are elected by our staff members and the fourth is the Principal. There are also nine elected parent representatives and two community members who are usually invited to join by the elected members of the School Council. School Council elections take place early each year.
The School Council oversees the school's finances, makes sure that the buildings and grounds are safe and in good repair, helps develop and set a number of school policies, approves camps and major excursions and makes approaches on behalf of the school to all levels of government.
Over the past twelve months the School Council has approved and been involved in major projects including the refurbishment of two rooms using Australian Government Investing in Schools funds and the installation of two new playgrounds.
Our School Council is dedicated to ensuring that our students receive high quality education in a safe, happy and secure setting.
